Following the release of the latest BigBlueButton online learning system version, and after ensuring its stability and health, optimization operations have been carried out for hosting classes. All Shared and Dedicated services have now been updated to this version.

Some of the features and capabilities of the new version are as follows:

• Ability to edit message text in the chat section in case of a typo.
• React to chat messages using emojis.
• Ability to add a Reply to a specific message in the chat section.
• Delete written messages in the chat section by the author or the meeting moderator.
• Display of a blue checkmark after messages have been read in the private chat section.
• Better understanding of polls by displaying their results in the form of graphical charts.
• Temporarily leave the session with automatic muting of the microphone and covering of the webcam.
• Change the microphone or speaker device without needing to disconnect and reconnect the audio.
• Change the audio status between microphone and listen-only modes without needing to disconnect and reconnect the audio.

The new Moodle version introduces new features and capabilities, some of which are listed below:

• Improved user interface (UI) and increased system speed.
• Integration with Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems such as OpenAI and Ollama.
• Students can utilize AI to better understand their lessons.
• Shared question bank for using questions across different courses.
• Improved search method within the question bank.
• Automatic penalty for students when submitting assignments late.
• Ability to grade students based on their performance within BigBlueButton.

All customer Moodle services have now been upgraded to this new version!

• Sharing your camera feed as the main content and hiding the whiteboard.
• Option to disable the display of your own image when sharing your camera.
• Addition of a forward-running timer and a countdown timer along with an audio alert.
• Prevention of automatic mobile screen shutdown during an online class.

In line with providing the best services and responding to the requests of our valued customers, the BigBlueButton Attendance System has been implemented!

Some of the features and capabilities of this system are as follows:

• Instant and real-time reporting of individuals' attendance.
• Displaying the total duration of presence in the session.
• Displaying the duration of late entry to the session.
• Displaying the duration of active speaking/contribution in the session.
• Ability to search between sessions and individual names.
• Ability to print the session attendance report.
• Ability to download the session attendance report in Excel format.

This feature is currently available in all Shared, Dedicated, and Webinar JetRoom services and is accessible through the Moodle and our JETSchool platforms!
